Prof. Dr. João Paulo dos Santos Fernandes
Head of Group
Pharmacist (UnG, 2003), MSc and PhD (FCF/USP, 2006 and 2012) in Medicinal Chemistry. He has worked in several Universities in São Paulo, teaching in graduate and undergraduate courses in Pharmacy, Medicine, Odontology and Phisicaltherapy, mainly on Medicinal Chemistry nd Pharmacology disciplines. Currently he is full-time adjunct professor at Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), where teaches Medicinal Chemistry, in Pharmacy undergraduate and graduate in Pharmaceutical Sciences, as well as develops research projects involving novel bioactive compounds for central nervous system, neglected diseases and inflammation.

O GRUPO
We are a research group working at the Laboratory of Natural and Synthetic Inputs from Federal University of São Paulo - campus Diadema, developing research projects involving the design and synthesis of bioactive compouds. Molecular modeling and QSAR studies are also performed when necessary.
